From now through September 2020, promote your business on Google Maps for free.
Google has started rolling out Promoted pins to Smart campaign advertisers with a Google My Business profile, and it will be fully available in the coming weeks.
Smart campaigns help you to get Google ads up and running in as little as 15 minutes, according to Google.
Promoted pins on Google Maps help your business stand out in Google Maps by displaying a prominent, square-shaped Google Maps pin for your business. You can use this to highlight specific services such as pickup, delivery, and any other specific offering for your business. Through September 2020, you won’t be charged for any clicks, calls or sales from Promoted pins.
Per Google “Every month, over 1 billion people use Google Maps to see what’s around them, search for businesses, and find directions.“
Google Ads advertisers can sign up for Smart campaigns and run ads directly from the Google Ads mobile app to start advertising right away. In-app signup is currently available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Japan, with more countries to follow. The Google Ads apps for Android or iOS are available to download today.
